TheBalm Frat Boy

This is one of those product that I received as sample for somewhere but I have no idea when or why I got it but I found it the other day and decided to start using it again. TheBalm are a higher end drugstore brand sold in Superdrug in the UK that are known for liquid lipsticks and the infamous Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter that I have spoken about before. But this is something else that they are known slightly for. The frat Boy Blusher.
Outer Packaging

The Blush is your run of the mill pinky peach blusher with a matte finish, The packaging on this is a love and hate of mine, the print in the vintage style is lovely and I have always loved theBalms quirky vintage packaging on everything they do, the full size packaging also has a massive pan of blusher in it too which is worth mentioning but regardless of whether you get the tester or the full size the product still comes in a cardboard casing, which means its not particularly sturdy or travel friendly.
Inside the tester

In the pan the blush looks slightly boring but it is lovely on the skin giving a lovely healthy glow almost to anyone and the fact that it is a matte shade means it compliments nearly any makeup look with the product being so easy to use and blend out. The blush seems to stay on the cheeks really well  and I am glad I got this sample and if I ever hit pan I will buy the full size version, which is available in superdrug for £15.49.

You can buy it here

Until Next time...

Love Kim x
