OPI Jewel of India

I have a few OPI polishes and I will be working my way through them and reviewing them but this was an old one but a good one. I get so many compliments on this colour and constantly have people asking me what it is. The polish is from the Far east collection which first came out in 2000. The colour is a satin looking pink/magenta with slight gold looking shimmer to it.

Smash box glow on eyeshadow trio

I've had this trio for a while, so long I'm not even so sure it still available in store and its the only bit of smash box makeup I own.  This was meant to be £23 but it was another TK Max buy, I think it was about £5.

Now the packaging is cute and so compact, I bought it for that reason, when I was constantly carrying a full face of makeup around in a make up bag incase I had last minute stay at my boyfriends. The pans are quite big and although I don't know the names of the shadows they are pretty self explanatory as to which ones which.

Swatches on my hand in natural light
The top shade the palest of the lot is a lovely inner corner highlighter, its just enough to make you eye pop, the pink/peach I use all over the lid and again is a lovely colour whilst the brown I use as crease shadow or to add some depth to my eyes in the outer corner. All of the shadows have somewhat of a satin finish with a slight amount of shimmer which again I think is really nice, its just enough to be pretty but not so much shimmer than it couldn't be used as an everyday look. There isn't a great amount of fallout with any of the colours but still a small amount but you get this with most shadows.

You can see that I do use this set but not a great deal, I reach for it when I travel mostly, I have other colours that are very similar to this and are better quality. So for the £5 price tag I paid I would totally buy it again and would say its worth the money. But if I had paid the full £23 I would have been really disappointed because while the colours are nice they are nothing really amazing.

NARS Versailles

TK Max came through again when in there the other day and I spotted this little beauty in the clearance section for £4 now it normally retails at £15 I think and from what I can tell its no longer available online from NARS but it could still be available online I'm not completely certain to be honest.
NARS is one of those brands that everyone seems to know, right up there with MAC and about the same price range so more of  medium range product. The bottle is square with a Matte black lid that has some slight damage to it which is why it was reduced.

BareMinerals 'The colour extravaganza' review and swatches

I bought this at the same time as the soft and smokey palette but wanted to play around with it a little more before I post about it on here. RRP for this product but I paid £19.99.  This palette is a mixture of matte and shimmer shades made in threes for easy use eye looks, it comes with a little booklet as well with what colours to use where and possible looks you could create.

January and February's birchbox

My blogging has been a little flaky lately and I'm sorry, I went back to Uni and life just got on top of me. But anyway today my February birchbox came and I was so excited with it I couldn't not do this post so I interrupt this normal broadcasting to bring you this multi birchbox post.
