Kiko dream wish nail lacquer set

Nail varnishes are something I have a lot of but I can't resist buying them and when in kiko today I saw this beautiful box and just had to buy it. It's part of the Cosmic starlets range in kiko which came in this beautiful, red christmasy packaging covered in red star constellation type patterns. I own a couple of kiko nail polishes and think they are pretty great for polishes (or at least the ones I own) which are the same price as the average Barry M polish so I couldn't resist. I'm an addict what can I say.

Bareminerals The soft and the smoky palette *review and swatches*

I was rummaging around TK max the other day, as I do most days for an after work treat and I came across this little beauty from Bareminerals, its called the soft and the smokey and its beautiful packaging is what brought my eye to it at first before I even realised what it was.

Welcome to your new nail miracle!

Now I know that the Winter months are really harsh on your nails, it leads to dry, super flexible, weak and peeling nails the no one wants, and if any of you work in retail keeping your nails long at Christmas is impossible. I however am here with your new saving grace product. Now don't get me wrong it isn't going to make them strong like acrylics and you are still going to end up with snapping nails but I have seen such an improvement since buying this product.
The bottle is a 7.4ml bottle and please excuse my horrible nails, they are bare and short and just urgh... this is why I should have left building the desk to my boyfriend, I smashed nearly every nail I have, no joke.

NYX haul!

Way back in October Boots UK started to stock NYX cosmetics, and I put off and put off buying them, hoping that they would decide to come to a store in the North East, apparently that hope was in vain but very recently I gave in and placed a £50 order with themselves and naturally I just had to share with you what I got. Now a quick note first and unfortunately it is a negative one, although once my order was in I received the product in 3 days (and one of those days was a Sunday) I was incredibly unimpressed with how the products were packed they were simply in a bog standard lightly lined envelope, there was no extra padding or bubble wrap. Now I found this really disappointing, I think if I had been ordering mostly powder based products they would have smashed in transit, luckily I only ordered one and it came intact but yeah, I was slightly disappointed on that front... Now onto the products!

Makeup revolution redemption palette romantic smoked *review and swatches*

Makeup revolution is a brand I will be talking about again and again on here, after a very good friend recommended them I started somewhat of an obsession, which spiralled into a £40 haul (which is a lot of make up from a brand where their highest priced eyeshadow palette is £8). This product though was gifted to me by that same good friend for Christmas although features on their websites and in superdrugs for £4. The Romantic Smoked palette is described as "A perfect mix of pearl, Shimmer and Matte Shades. totally collectable and a pure sellout".

My first ever Birchbox!

So this was exciting for me, I decided after months of deliberating to sign up to birch box in a 6 months capacity. Birch box, for anyone who doesn't know, is a one of those beauty to your door company where after signing up and paying a small fee they send you a box of sample size or full size products for you to test out every month. Now the boxes cost £10 a box and then a £2.25 shipping fee for every box. So I paid my subscription charge and waited with bated breath for the box to turn up.. I was not disappointed.
