My favourite lipliner and Lipstick combo

Lip liner is one of those things that can completely change a lipstick shade or the way it sits on the skin (I know I'm making it sound like its magic) so I thought I would do my favourite li9pliner and lipstick combo that aren't meant to the be used together but look so god damn good, and it doesn't hurt that it makes a completely cult product sometimes that bit more wearable.

Now what are these mystical product I hear you say?

Well they are the highly coveted 'Velvet Teddy' by Mac and a lip liner from Gosh in the shade 'Antique rose'.

Now before anyone comes after me with a pitchfork I do like velvet teddy (although it did take it a while to grow on me) but the formula is very drying and it picks up on every little bit of dryness on your lips and sometimes and even be downright uncomfortable when worn for the long period of time.

Whilst the Gosh lip liner is the exact opposite, its creamy and comfortable and so they formula shouldn't go together but they cancel each other out and you are left with a comfy lip that is a flattering every day kind of shade.

The pinkness of the lip liner warms up the brown of velvet teddy that little bit and I just find it a lot more of a wearable shade in that its a more subtle everyday look. It was normally my go to on work days and days that I had somewhere I needed to look a bit more professional.

The lip liner is much cheaper price as well at £4.99 compared to MACS range of £13-£15 depending on what shade you want.

So yeah this is my ultimate lipstick and lip liner combo and if any of you fancy trying tit out make sure to tag me in any photos of you guys wearing it.

You can get the lip pencil here and the lipstick here

Until Next time....
Love Kim x
