You guys have seen in a previous post that benefit have
recently released a new brow range including some brand new products and some
packaging revamps for existing products, they were giving away testers of some
of them in magazines and so yours truly had to go and get the only two that I
could find, one was the ‘Goof proof pencil’ which you can find my review on
here, the other is the product I am going to be chatting about now.

Ready, Set, Brow is a 24 hours shaping gel and basically it
is just a clear brow gel that is meant to keep your eyebrows (and their
products) in place all day to stop you ending up with a smudged eyebrow, now
this seemed like a wonderful idea to me… to many times I’ve had an afternoon
nana nap and woke up with only one eyebrow so anything to stop that was a great
idea from me.
The product comes in a silver futuristic looking tube with a
wand inside that is meant to be used for application that has a slightly
thinner side on one side of the brush. I do like the applicator and feel like
it applies the product into my brows well and doesn’t apply to much.

Unfortantly it is the actual product that lets this down for
me. Your brush it through your brows after applying your normal brow product
and then bam, it dries, and I don’t just mean it dried like a nice little
coating, I mean it dried like cement, hardening like a bad hairspray and
clumping together the brow product underneath and make it then flake off in a
really unattractive way.
I’m so happy I only got this as a tester as the full product
is £18.50 and I think if I had paid this much to have such a badly performing
product I would have been devastated, so this one is something I would
defiantly pass up on.
You can buy the product here
Until Next time…
Love Kim x
