Bare Minerals Mineral Veil

A cult product is something this powder definitely is, every time I say I need a new powder at least one person tells me that this is the one to go for and so this time I gave in and bought it… only to review for you guys of course.

outer packaging

The Bare Minerals Mineral veil powder is a loose powder that claims to minimise lines, absorb oils and soften your complexion as well as lock your makeup in place so just a couple of big claims there. The powder comes in a few different shades and purposes, now I have the perfecting light finish which is simply meant to make your skin look better in artificial lights and is a translucent powder but reviews online I read said it didn’t make much of a difference from the original formula. (The reason for my buying this type was it was in a full size set including a brush, a blush, an eyeshadow quad, a eyeliner duo and a lipgloss for £18, so I figured I would risk it)

The packaging is very simple making to beautiful to have on a dresser and travel with, the powder itself is contained inside a plastic pot with a sifter on to make sure that you don’t end up with loads of product on the brush and then a screw top lid, mine is a rose gold metallic finish which is beautiful.

I must say I was pretty blown away by this powder, it buff into the skin well to set your foundation but somehow manages to give an airbrush effect to the skin making it look beautiful. I didn’t find it to settle into fine lines or pores and it helps keep my T-Zone oils at bay all day.

I can not fault this at all and it is well worth the £20.00 as I haven’t had a single problem with it and it just exactly what it does on the skin, this has been my everyday go to setting powder and I just simply love it, I can’t praise it highly enough.

You can buy the product here.

Until next time…
Love Kim x
