Benefit's Goof proof eyebrow pencil

Now I love my brow products and I am far from the days of using a simply eyebrow pencil to fill in my brow, unless running to the shops, I mostly use my Urban decay brow box that I wrote a review on a while ago (you can read that here) but when I was browsing through the magazines before going through the till when food shopping the other day I spotted that Elle was giving away a free mini of the brand new Goof Proof eyebrow pencil from benefit's up coming brow launch on the 24th of June and of course I had to.

The pencil I got was in shade 2 which is pretty much perfect for me, now when this is released in full size it will be £18.50 which is kinda pricey compared to the likes of of urban decays brow beater for £15 and or the Anastasia Brow wiz for £15.50 but it is a little bit different, I'll talk about that in a little while though. Similar to the two other brow beater and Brow wiz though the full size version will come with a spoolie on the other end of the pencil which is kinda handy, cause I would be lost without one when trying to do my brows. 

Its the tip on this that makes it super special, The tip is what benefits website describes as " a custom, non-sharpen "goof proof" tip" now I'll give you custom cause I have never seen anything like it, and this is where it sets its self apart from its Urban decay and Anastasia counterparts, most other eyebrow pencils I have found are just thinly nibbed and aren't very good for girls like me who like there brows a little thicker cause I burn through those tiny pencils in what feels like no time but this one is a lot thicker but has a almost diamond shaped end to it, that not only makes application easier cause it seems to glide on better but also means you use less product and its faster as well, as it takes less strokes, literally one or two and then your done.

Don't get me wrong this doesn't give me the defined ultra filled in look I get with the brow box but if you are just looking for a quick bit of defining or more of a natural look this is you guy right here. I do love this product and once this tester/smaller size runs out I will probably buy a full size one, the only thing I will say is that although benefit's website says the pencil has a 12 hour waterproof formula if you planning on wearing this all day on your brows I would set it with a clear brow gel because if you don't you might find the tail of your brow disappears and that isn't a good look for anyone, but I do like this product and it does make doing my brows on a natural looking makeup day much easier and much less hassle, and I personally love this new slightly lazier option. 

The product will be available here on the 24th along with the other new products in the range, which include the infamous gimme brow with new colours, a cream-gel brow colour, an eyebrow primer, a eyebrow highlighter  an eyebrow enhancer, a clear brow gel, the brow zings, and a thinner tipped pencil more like the Brow wiz and Brow beater type.
