Makeup revolution Iconic Smokey Palette

I have wanted this palette since I first saw it announced on instagram and when I saw it in the flesh in my local Superdrug I simply could not resist and at £6 the price was amazing. This is a dupe of the Urban Decay Smokey palette which I would have loved to get but my inner cheapskate couldn't let me so I bought this instead.

Inside the outer cardboard box is a glossy, sleek box as many of revolutions pallets are designed. One side of the palette when opened is a large mirror which makes it very good for travelling. It also comes with a double ended brush (which I didn't take any photos of, sorry) but I was quite impressed with it. It has a firmer side which is much better for actually packing the colour on and then a softer end which I used for blending out the colour.
The colours are mix of browns and grey tones (with a couple with a purple look) which means its easy to make a everyday smokey look or a big bold dramatic one. It mostly shimmer colours but the final 4 in there are mattes so there a little bit of everything to do any look.

Light is a shimmer rose gold colour that is quite pale, I use it all over the lid for a nice daytime look.
Glow can again be used all over the lid or can be used as a transition colour for a bronzy/brown smokey eye. and stained is a shimmery light brown which I would use as an outer corner shadow on top of glow. Erupt is more of a shimmery dark brown with grey undertones meaning it can be used with literally any other colour in the palette.
top to bottom - light, glow, stained, erupt.
Silvery its a grey which silvery undertones which can be used all over the lid when going for that more dramatic dark look. Smoke is a dark grey shimmery shadow whilst shadow is the darkest grey in the set. Haze is a very dark shadow with purple shimmer, its lovely.

Top to bottom - Silvery, Smoke, Shadow, Haze

Steam is a matte light brown, rubble is a dark brown. These two can be layer to create a more brown matte smokey eye. Where as flicker and exhale are used more as a highlighter for the brow bone or inner eye corner.

The pigmentation of these is amazing and they make some lovely looks with a very little fallout you just have to make sure to tap excess off the brush. They stayed very well on my eyes regardless of whether I used my NXY eye shadow primer or not. its a very travel size palette and with variety of looks available within it making it perfect for weekends away. Overall I am really happy with this palette and happy I didn't spend the £30+ on the urban Decay one.
