Mac Brave

This lipstick was my second Mac lipstick and it was worn non-stop for months (as the dint in the top shows) but what made it so lovely and wearable for me?
Lipstick in bullet

The lipstick comes in the classic Mac packaging of a sleek matte black box and then a black bullet with Mac engraved twice on the bullet. The lipstick is just a normal twist up style making it easy and fast to apply.

The Lipstick itself is stunning, although looking like a darker rose toned shade with a cooler undertone making this my perfect everyday shade as I find that brown tones nudes wash me out somewhat with me being so pale.

The formula of this is a satin finish meaning its not matte but not  glossy finish it’s a lovely in the middle comfortable feeling finish but can be made more matte looking by doing blotting or powdering over the top. But it’s the pigmentation that makes me love this all the more, one swipe and you have a lovely opaque finish and after I had worn my lip shape into the bullet itself (which you can see in the photos) it meant I didn’t even need to apply it with a mirror just a quick steady handed swipe across my lips and I was done. It wears beautifully through the day also, because it is more of  neutral shade I don’t find it wears away into lines on the lips.

Overall for the quality of this lipstick I would be happy to repurchase for the £15.50 price point as I do feel this is one lipstick that my drugstore equivalent brand just do not hold up to, but if you guys know of any good dupes please comment them down below.

You can buy the product here.

Until next time…
Love Kim X
