Freedom Pro Correct Palette

Colour correctors have been all the rage lately and with good reason, unlike concealers the colour correctors not only conceal but they also correct undertones in the skin. A colour corrector will make a spot or your under eye circles much less noticeable by concealing the imperfection but also by cancelling out the colour of the imperfection by applying a colour over the top that is opposite the imperfection colour on the colour wheel.
This product from Freedom cost the grand total of £5 in superdrug and holds 6 colour correcting shades to help with everyday imperfections that you might need to colour correct.

Outer packaging

The first colour in  the palette said by freedom to be a yellow that can equalise blue undertones that are normally found on the eyelid or under the eye area, however when watched it appeared more beige than yellow which means that it is not all that great at cancelling out those blue tones.
The second colour in the palette is a lilac colour which is used to add radiance dull skin, this shade is spot on, comes out lilac and works quite well to hide dullness.
The third pan is a green colour which is best for balancing out redness whether that be from spots or just skin pigmentation when swatched though it is very much a pastel green shade, which works but is not amazing.
The first pan on the second row contains a peach, now this colour to me isn't peach, its just straight up pink and so doesn't do a whole lot on the correcting front.
The next pan along from that is a brown shade which could be used to conceal imperfections on darker skin shades or be used as a contour shade on lighter skin tones, whilst I can't comment on its ability to cover imperfections on darker skin tones with me being super pale I can comment on the claim of using is as a contour shade and I say honestly it is not a contour shade at all, even on my pale skin it gives no definition to my face at all.
The final pan is then a white shade which is was meant to be used as a highlight or to brighten certain areas but there is a so much shimmer in this its a little bit much really, I have only found a use for it in my inner eye.
colours swatched: from left to right yellow, lilac, green, peach, brown and white

Its an all right palette for the money but I have used the MUA palette of about the same price and it is much better. The freedom palette seems to make any makeup I lay onto sit funny and the colour in the correction kit simply isn't pigmented enough to make any type of difference so I would honestly say just save your money.

you can pick up the palette here

but until next time guys,
Love Kim x
