Makeup Academy Flawless Skin Primer

This product was bought for me at Christmas by a good friend and it's taken me  a while to actually write about it. I am so confused about it, online people like this generally, even rave about it for its low price point of £5 which is very cheap for primer.
Outer Packaging

The product is described on the website as being
"Flawless Primer creates a radiant complexion that feels velvet soft to the touch whilst reducing the appearance imperfections such as fine lines and large pores, which means you can even wear this alone to give you a flawlessly undressed look."
Now I applied this using my fingers which is how it is suggested to be used and it did move around my face very well, and I only used a small amount so I could see this lasting for a while, and because its a nice clear formula is blends onto the face well and doesn't leave streaks as there is no colour difference.
One pump of product dispensed onto my hand

It also says that it can be worn without a foundation to give a undressed look. I guess you could but I personally haven't tested this as it been a while where I've had a skin day so good that I could get away with wearing just that.
The packaging is small and easy to carry around, the pump works well but my main problem with this product, and its a major issue for myself, is it texture. Its so oily on the skin, people report this being weightless, but I don't get that it leaves a oily residue on my face no matter how long I leave it to settle into the skin.
Also I simply just don't think this works overly well, I don't find it hides any imperfections or covers any fine lines and would even go as far as to say it makes other base products settle in to fine lines and with it already being so oily no amount of powder can save me from the shininess that occurs through the day.
I am really disappointed in this and I don't know wether its just me, or how I am applying this but I do not like this product at all and will be sticking to the primers I already use.
