Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Hey guys its been a while, I have Wifi back now though! Hurrah! so posting should be on time and more regular and I will do my best to keep that up but I guess we will just have to see.
Now does anyone else suffer with dark under eye circles? *Patiently waits for people to raise hands*

I do, I have massive circles that most of the time look like someone has tried to punch me in the face and given me a black eye which isn't a good look for anyone so instead of spending money on skincare to fix it, I have been spending money on concealers and this one has been collecting dust so I figured it was time to bust out this bad boy out and see what it was like.
Outer packaging of the product

Collection cosmetics is a UK based brand who I used to use years and years ago when it was still called Collection 2000 way back when. I originally picked this up after a friend of mine said it was a close but much cheaper dupe for the NARS Radiant creamy concealer and with this product being £4.19 which is much cheaper than the £22.50 that NARS charges for their product but is it really a dupe?

The packaging of the product is very simple as you would expect from something of this price, its plastic tube no bigger then your average lip gloss with a doe foot applicator and a glossy black lid.

The applicator

The product claims to have a heavy coverage concealer that will last for 16 hours, that will be water resistant, transfer proof and will stay matte, which are some quite big claims for something that is most definitely at a drugstore price point.

The shade I got was fair which is quite light and work okay on my skin with a little bit of blending. The concealer its self is very soft and creamy which makes it easy to blend out and work with. However the claim of the 16 hours wear time it not true at all in my opinion, this lasts up to about 6 hours at best on me which is slightly disappointing.
Shade Light 1 swatched on the back of my hand

However it is a very good cheaper price point concealer it works well in photography and the formula stays okay, it doesn't crease as badly as some high concealers I have which is always good, it does cover my dark circles but not for as long as it claims and although my one and only experience (which is not fair to base a whole opinion of a product on I know) of the NARS Radiant creamy concealer was not good it did last much longer than this one did but that is to be expected from something that was so cheap to be honest, but if you were look for a quick cheap fix which doesn't have to hang around for a long time this might be the product for you.

You can pick up the Collection Concealer here

Until Next time...

Love Kim x
