The kit included two muslin cloths, a cleanse & polish hot cloth cleanser (which is something of a beauty cult item), a toner and the moisturiser and then the gift of mini sized gentle face exfoliator. The kit was £45 which isn't bad for four items at all. The packaging is all a lovely blue colour and is very classy and simple.
The first step of the programme is the cleanse & polish hot cloth cleanser it is meant to be massaged over dry skin in circular motions before being removed with the muslin cloth after being dipped in warm water (make sure to use a clean section of the cloth each time you swipe it across your face). The product is amazing, I can't lie to you, it gets rid of every bit of base makeup and even can tackle some mascaras, although my waterproof version of the Better than sex mascara by too faced does not budge with this stuff and still sees me going in with a proper eye makeup remover. The product does seem to lift all of the makeup and just everyday grime from your skin and leaves it soft and fresh feeling. The one thing I will mention is the smell, now this didn't bother me or my sensitive skin which does not like a lot of this type of product but the smell does seem to upset some people or their skin. The product uses all completely natural ingredients and smells quite potently of them, I like the smell but I though it was worth mentioning that there is a strong scent with this. The packaging of the cleanser is in a pump (whoop whoop!) this not only sees a less messy application but also means that you get the right amount of product, the representative of Liz Earle that I bought the products from suggested that I use one pump of the cleanser each time I washed my face and depending on the level of makeup I had on that day I might simply want to double cleanse my face if I had a lot of makeup on that day.

The cleanser seemed to have a good effect on my skin, it appeared to be spot free, where normally it was spot prone and the cleanser seemed to help even out any uneven patches on my face, and it lasts for what seems like forever.
The instant Boost skin tonic is the first toner I have ever used so my comparisons of this will be lacking but I must say I loved this product too. Toner is product I never thought I needed and just completely over looked and had I not bought the kit from Liz Earle I probably wouldn't have picked it up. The toner is very refreshing and just makes the skin look and feel like every little bit of makeup has been taken off and my face just seems to soak up the goodness of this stuff.

The one dud of the group for me was the moisturiser, but I don't think that was the moisturisers fault I think it was just simply that I was suggested the wrong one, my skin is combination but it is nowhere near oily enough to need this product. It seemed to break me out, it seemed to dehydrate my skin and it just did not interact well with my skin at all. I have read many reviews of this product though and some people love it and rave about it I honestly do think it was just not right for my skin which is unfortunate.

Overall I really like this set, its a simple set that I can use every night and every morning without feeling like I am breaking the bank, I do think if I pick up this kit again, which I probably will, I will get the dry skin formulation just for the different moisturiser but all in all this is a lovely set for a reasonably low price point for what it is with amazing results. My skin has honestly never looked this good and had so little breakouts!
