Kiko dream wish nail lacquer set

Nail varnishes are something I have a lot of but I can't resist buying them and when in kiko today I saw this beautiful box and just had to buy it. It's part of the Cosmic starlets range in kiko which came in this beautiful, red christmasy packaging covered in red star constellation type patterns. I own a couple of kiko nail polishes and think they are pretty great for polishes (or at least the ones I own) which are the same price as the average Barry M polish so I couldn't resist. I'm an addict what can I say.

Outer packaging

Inside there is a good range of colours but they are quite generic colours, ones I almost definitely already own but oh well. There are 8 bottles that are 10ml each so quite large bottles. I also only bought it today so can't comment on the durability and wear of the polishes but they are priced at £9.90 at the moment cause they are so that is super cheap, working out at just over £1.20 a bottle which is amazing.
Inner packaging
None of the bottles have names on them so I will just got through them lightest to darkest colours.
Now this one is a clear formula with tiny pieces of glitter suspended in it. It can be used as a top coat and adds just a nice bit of shimmer over the top, I haven't taken any swatches of this on the nail because it simply doesn't show up on camera but in real life it adds a nice bit of shine and changes the class of the nail varnish a little bit, so it's a pretty colour.

This colour is a very pale colour, and I would say its a beige colour, there is 2 coats on my nail on the top photo. This colour would be very flattering on people with a darker skin tone than myself but I think that on me it just highlights how red my cuticles are and my very pale skin colour.

This colour is very bright, almost coral orange. I really like this colour, again there is 2 coats on my nail it will look lovely in the spring and summer months as its brights and eye catching without looking too in your face. It also super glossy and just lush.

This colour is quite a dark red colour, and I had such high hopes for this polish, it was lovely colour in the bottle, but on the brush it was just so watery and patchy. That's 2 coats again on the top photo and you can see that patchiness off it, with more coats it may look better but as I said the colour is lovely but the formula is just not great.

This is a beautiful plum colour, the formula was great and glossy, and its just beautiful, its a perfect Autumn/winter colour and it would amazing with a matte top coat on it. 2 coats put a lovely coat on my nails, this is one of my favourite colours in the set.

I also loved this colour as well, its a royal blue/cobalt colour and just like the plum colour the colour is glossy has a lovely formula and the colour is so pretty.

This colour I wasn't overly fond of, it was a super dark almost black purple, the formula was so patchy and its just not a good varnish, I mean it's not terrible but its by far the worst in the set.

This is a fab black, its hard to find a black that isn't patchy or streaky but this is a wonderful one, goes on well. Glossy finish, and just all round good polish.

I quite like this set but as I say it is very generic colours, if you want this type of colour I would honestly spend the little bit extra money and just buy a better version of them. I can't fault them for the price they were at when I bought them but I have colours from Essie, Rimmel and Barry M which are so similar but are just a little bit more expensive. I will wear them but as I said if you want these colours and aren't bothered about hunting them down and then save your money and take the time to find better versions.
