Giorgio Armani Luminous silk foundation

This is a one of those products where someone else definitely made me do it, I was going to buy naked skin foundation by Urban decay and I ended up buying this as well... not that I have used the naked skin yet but that because I don't like having too many foundations open at once.
So was the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk work the money?

The foundation is a no SPF medium coverage foundation that has a natural matte look and is oil free, and most importantly it comes in 21 colours which is an amazing selection. I have shade 3 for myself.  The foundation is very lightweight and very easy to blend. It has a beautiful finish of a matte but still with some natural looking glow so that your skin doesn't look flat. The coverage is a definitely light to medium coverage and can be buildable but I normally am too lazy to apply two layers unless I am going somewhere special. This foundation does have a pump through which is very important but personally I need two or three pumps to cover my face in a light coverage which means this bottle is not going to last me very long at all.

It doesnt seem to break away too badly but its not an all day foundation as it seems to just disappear, it doesn't go patchy or anything is just seems to sink into the skin which is my main problem with it. It is a wonderful foundation with a lovely finish and it sits beautifully on my skin and it would be my favourite foundation of all time if it was not for the fact it doesnt stay on my face very long. With such a high price point it is still a beautiful foundation and as I said earlier I do still use it, but its mostly on days where I know I won't be out long or where I am going to a special event and I want the amazing finish it gives my skin but it is defiantly not a everyday all day foundation.

It can be picked up from house of fraser here for £37

  1. I'm surprised by this! If I hadn't went cruelty free I'd buy this again and again! I've had this for around six months now and it still hasn't ran out, and I find it lasts all day, what a shame it's not the same for you!

    1. I might just be strange like that, there is loads of beauty hacks and things that seem to have the opposite effect on me, like coconut oil dries my hair out... I think it's just me, I'm broken
